What is coaching?

*A co-creative process to facilitate desired change

*A unique relationship between coach and client that leads to a discovery of self

 

  • The most important relationship is the one you have with you. All other relationships stem from this one. Improve and heal all relationships, getting to the root of discord by better understanding your relationship with you.
  • We all hold the answers within us. Often we are in our own way. Take the first step. Reduce stress, anxiety, worry, anger, sadness, and fear in the body.

 

FACT Energy out > Energy in = depletion.

 

Why Yoga and Coaching?

In my experience, it is through sharing our personal stories that we can help each other heal.  I was in a verbally abusive relationship and allowed things in my life I never thought I would.  This relationship slowly chipping away, until I didn’t recognize myself.  I was dying inside, not the happy person I once was. No one knew the depth of my pain, not even my closest friends.  I wore a mask and kept up appearances that all was fine.

Within the first six months of my yoga practice, something clicked deep in my soul.  A switch that was off for so long turned ON! This light so bright, I couldn’t ignore.  As I moved toward this inner light, it gave me the strength to trust myself.  I realized I was the one allowing this destructive behavior. With awareness and clarity, I could no longer ignore my situation and was able to make the necessary changes to a happy, healthy life.  I decided to become a certified coach to assist in the discovery of self and wellness. ~Elise Angell

Blended Families are the most rapidly rising type of family and come with a unique set of challenges. Having been a bonus mom twice, (the first time taught me how to do it better the second time) I understand this dynamic and can help you navigate through whatever stage of the process you’re experiencing.

 

Health

It’s not just one thing that gets us to the place we are. There are many factors that can contribute to the way you’re feeling.

*Not one of us is the same, so finding the perfect combination for you and your body is important.

*Here’s a thought….every single thing you put into and on your body becomes your brain, body, organs, skin, and even your thoughts, moods and emotions-it’s basically who you are.

*Learn to listen to what your body is saying, how to feed it in every way, and understand what you need to be the best possible you.

Empowering Tween/Teens

Empowering Tweens (6th-8th Grade Separate class for Girls/Boys)

This workshop is designed to help tweens better understand their most important relationship-the one they have with themselves, as all relationships stem from this one.

*Focusing on self-love, self-worth, self-respect, personal responsibly & strategies to help with emotionality, anxiety and stress.

*Breathing exercises, meditation and the physical yoga practice will also be incorporated.

SS Age 13

I like this class. It taught me more about drama and girls my age and how I feel especially with someone making me feel annoyed.

EP Age 12

I know that I am enough, loved. I can let out my emotions. I don’t have to keep them in, most important relationship is with myself. Always listen to your gut, accept yourself for who you are, and don’t listen to people’s opinions, listen to your heart.

 

 

Empowering Teens (Grades 9-12. Co-ed)

This workshop is designed to help teens better understand their most important relationship-the one they have with themselves, as all relationships stem from this one.

*Focusing on self-love, self-worth, self-respect, personal responsibly & strategies to help with emotionality, anxiety and stress.

*Breathing exercises, meditation and the physical yoga practice will also be incorporated.

 

Empowering Parents

*Build healthier relationships & communication

*Understand and manage emotions (stress, anxiety and worry)

*It is also a follow-up or introduction for parents who teens have done or are going to attend the next Empowering Tweens/Teens Workshop.

**This workshop is for parents with children of all ages.

 

Yoga Tots (4-6) & Yoga Kids (7-11)

This class will help children develop strong, healthy bodies and calm, focused minds while having fun learning yoga poses, breathing exercises, and mindfulness. When practiced, these tools are great strategies for kids to know to help them cope with stress and help them develop skills for everyday life.

 

Beginners Series

Offered several times a year. This course will start you from the very beginning of your yoga practice so that you’re comfortable to walk into any yoga class with confidence.

There will be a concentrated focus on all aspects of the physical practice as well as an introduction to yoga philosophy.

 

Personal Story

I took this class never having done yoga, as a long-distance runner looking to avoid and prevent injuries.  I have to say, it was great.  2 1/2 years later, I’m hooked and now do yoga regularly.  Yoga builds a lot more strength than I thought, and the new found flexibility is amazing.  This is hands down, the best studio in town.  Give it a try!
